Who We Are

John Carroll outlines how Omnicare Alliance does things differently for the benefit of clients and the wider community.

Who We Are »

The formation of the Omnicare Alliance in 2017 marked the beginning of a journey we hope will build a reputation for being the foremost service provider in the Mid North Coast region of support, assistance and care for aged, disability and dementia clients.

This is an achievable goal - not a vague idea - guided by the aim of contributing purposefully and positively to the communities we serve.

Our Board of Directors, management team, other staff and volunteers live and work locally, and understand the benefits and challenges we all face living in this region. As an organisation, we're particularly keen for members of the local community to play a role in our growth and success.

There are various ways to get involved. There are employment opportunities, from support workers on the 'front line' of our services, to the administration staff that help the smooth running of our operations.

As a not-for-profit organisation reliant on funding, we have roles for fellow-community members who want to join us in improving the quality of life for so many others.

Our volunteers assist with transport, meal deliveries, social outings, group activities and companionship at our centres and elsewhere. It's often challenging and sometimes difficult, but ultimately fulfilling and rewarding to help clients maintain or increase their independence.

We encourage the input of service clubs and businesses to assist us with specific projects and fundraising. We've enjoyed productive collaborations with partner organisations that have allowed us to contribute to developing more inclusive communities locally.
